Queensbury Today

Autumn in the Graveyard

A better day today until rain arrived late afternoon but the strong winds kept the birds down with very little visible movement.
Two Heron went over >W mid afternoon and the now usual small flocks of Fieldfare and Redwing were moving around the area.
Waxwing numbers are increasing nearby with good flocks now showing in Halifax, Bradford, Ilkley and Bingley making it look like it may be an influx year which is good after last years disaster of near nil sightings.
Hopefully the cold spell promised for next week will bring in the goods and some good reports will be showing, I badly need something to stop you all dying from boredom reading this blog.
