Winter returns to Fly Flatts

Greylag doing well.

                                           Rain squalls heading in.

Fly Flatts    0730 - 0945 hrs.  Attrocious conditions with near gale force wind WNW >6 , early  heavy shower followed by driving horizontal drizzle and loss of visibility by 0930. If this is spring roll on winter.

Quiet skies with the only moving birds being LBB gulls, spring migration is now obviously at an end apart from Swifts and gulls but July will soon be here when they start going tuther way.
Bird of the morning was a very flighty Whinchat which after several attempts to photograph I decided to stick with the Greylags, they move a bit slower.

28 LBB Gull....................>N
