Back to the wild west. Fly Flatts. pm

                                     Canada numbers increasing . 2 of 18

                     Riding choppy waters
                                         Deep swell
                                         Down in a trough

A flying visit to Fly Flatts late pm with just time to check the water , the boat yard area and a bit of sky watching, found it back to atrocious weather with a moderate W>5 and cloudy with drizzle soon coming over the moor followed by fog.
Canada geese numbers had risen to 18, some braving the rough water with a deep swell , white horses and splashing over the east bank.
15 minutes sky watching before the fog rolled in produced 2 distant Raven beyond the flat moor and 9 Black Headed gulls >NE.
Unbelievable how the weather can be so different up on that top ridge at Fly Flatts but I suppose thats what makes it so unique.
