Several Wrens in the dry stone wall
1600 hrs and down the road to A.C. country with a hope of Tree Sparrow or Andys Siskin flock, neither of which turned up.
The long hedge was quite active with Chaffinch, Wrens, Dunnocks, Great and Blue Tits and House Sparrows whilst up to a dozen Blackbirds were in the nearby fields.
A Green Woodpecker was calling from Larch trees across the field but kept out of sight whilst a Buzzard called several times but must have gone past me below the tree line.
The cricket fields had dog walkers on so no bird life and the nearby horse fields were void of gulls.
