Willow Warbs and Tit flocks and a quiet vis mig

                                   Willow Warblers moving through

A quiet pre work vis mig session this morning from Old Guy Rd with the cold wind keeping things at bay. This should liven up tomorrow if we get the promised SW wind which early migrating birds seem to favour, flying into the wind.
Swallows and Mipits were the only movers with several blogging Mipits on the deck along with the usual Pied Wags and a single Wheatear.
A single Swift came over the garage mid morning >S coinciding with local reports of  several sightings today, perhaps a last push for this species.

Lunchtime in Foxhill park found a nice flock of Great, Blue and Coal tits moving through the hedges with at least 3 Willow Warblers mixed in.
