Vis Mig and a check of the hedges

                 Plenty juv Pied Wagtails still on the cricket pitch

                                 An overgrown Harp Lane.

Just the usual on the cricket pitch this a.m. but with the Wheatear absent.
A surprise was a brief sighting of 2 Grey Partridge dash into long grass in the next field as well as 3 Mistle Thrush on a distant wall and 4 high overhead >W. Around 30 Mipits headed >SW whilst about another 30 were blogging..
A dinnertime dash to the top of the Dailies saw Swallows piling through >NW into the wind and plenty passerine activity lower down the Dailies in the new Hawthorns but no time to check it out.
A dog walk this evening down Harp Lane found a higher than usual number of Robins whilst 2 Dunnock, 1 Wren and a Willow Warbler were in the bushes + a few more Swallows over >NW.
