As expected the SW>4 and low cloud this a.m. got the ball rolling more.
Meadows pipits were coming over below the cloud base all >SW into the wind with just short of 100 in a 15 minute watch. All yesterdays blogging Mipits had already moved on but a new batch of Wheatear had come onto the cricket field with 4 birds feeding on the pitch.
Swallows were also moving through low down skimming the wall tops very fast and >SW.
A nice find for DJS today when the weather brought 14 Common Scoter in to Fly Flatts, see his report on Calderbirds.
