When will the winds stop ?

Another day of strong winds increasing by late afternoon to gale force WSW>7 with heavy horizontal rain.
Had to call at a customers at lunch time for some keys just in time to see NK being washed down Perseverance Rd after a real dousing on Soil Hill, dedication to the extreme, well done Nigel, at least we know that at least 1 Snow Bunt is still up there.
Only birds of note for me today were 6 LBBs heading >W early morning.

The winds really do have a demoralising effect and the trends have been for more longer lasting storms these past 5 or so years.
