Fly Flatts with the waders.( permit only)

 

                            Plenty waders to check through today,  f. Ringed Plover
                                                              Dunlin


                                                 Several Curlew now have chicks




                                         2 ad 3 juv Stonechat

                                   Surprising how much smaller Dunlin is to Ringed Plover.

A calmer morning at Fly Flatts with a light N>2 with broken cloud and some sunshine at 10 degrees.
                                           Waders are coming and going daily now with more Dunlin and Ringed Plover present and all very lively feeding along the shoreline.
                           The Stonechat family, or another , was present with male and female plus 3 juvs whilst the pair of Pied Wagtail were busy feeding their young.
Just 2 Wheatear showing today and very few gulls with 5 Herring on the NW bank .
