Flock of 42
Ogden moor 1600-1700 hrs. NW>5 with dark silhouette clouds.
Cold and windy conditions up above Ogden but pleasing to see so many Curlew moving in with a flock of 42 which grazed in fields before heading off >NW.
Fieldfare and Redwing were mobile with several odd birds in the fields then a flock of around 50 mixed Fieldfare and Redwing came over again heading >NW.
8 Siskin dropped into the plantation to roost along with 16 Magpies whilst 2 Herring gull went overhead. On the way back to the car a Great Spotted Woodpecker flew overhead towards the wood. The water was quiet with just the usual sp plus 16 Canada Geese. Note the car park is now open until 1900 hrs.
