Limited birding time today so a quick check of Ogden once again found the usual sp. with a good count of 54 Canadas and the Little Grebe still present but no sign of the Gt Crested.
Very few gulls on the shore but several mixed gulls very high, some hardly visible to the naked eye, all feeding on either high flying insects or ants.
As I walked through passerine alley a Redshank called and I just managed to see it fly low below the sky line towards Oxenhope.
Only passerines were Robins, Wrens and Chaffinch.
As I was coming away a phone call from KM at Oxenhope Reservoir with a Caspian gull in his scope. Typical on a time that I could,nt get up there. Thanks for the call Keith.
