Oxenhope reservoir late afternoon, members only.


                                   Invasion of the Black Headed gulls
  Lesser Black Backed, continental race
                                             Intermedius  Near black.


                  Commoner LBB gull  graellsii. Lighter slate grey

                  Getting soft, taking shelter during a
   particularly heavy shower.

Oxenhope reservoir.  1530-1700 hrs  Strong W>5-6  Sunshine and torrential showers
                                                         Visibility Baildon Moor.

Another entertaining visit with very much the same there as yesterday although only 1 Ringed Plover could be found from yesterdays 3 + 1 Ringed.
No sign of CKs Whimbrel from this morning but 2 Teal were still present along with the odd sighting of a juv Coot, not a bird often seen here.
Less big gulls today but a real influx of Black Headed dropped in.
