Back to reality, Ogden evening visit

BH gulls slowly starting to build
                              juv Heron always present
Worth the trip to get this stonking adult Commongull
   in full summer plumage.

                                   Single Lesser Black Backed

An evening trip to Ogden in the showers and drizzle did,nt find anything different with gull numbers slowly increasing with a count of 16 Black Headeds.
A couple of Willow Warblers and a Wren were still up singing along with a Song Thrush.
Star of the show and making the trip worthwhile was an adult Common gull in full summer plumage, something we rarely see in this area as summer birds are usually sub adult and by the time the adults return they are in winter plumage.
