Only 1 Wheatear on the cricket pitch this morning sheltering under the wall in a strong SW>5 and lashing rain, and a second check at lunch time found the place deserted probably due to disturbance.
A group of 9 Meadow Pipits came over Old Guy Rd at 0715hrs all moving >SW into the wind along with a few Swallows whilst 5 separate Pied Wagtails came over the garage during the day all >SW and another 6 this evening over Foxhill again >SW along with 4 Meadow Pipits.
2 Skylark headed over Foxhill midday >S so its all starting to happen now.
NK sent me a report of 2 pied wags and 4 Mipits >N and c10 blogging House Martins over Deanstones Lane.
