Fly Flatts

                                       Plenty Grouse on the moor
Probably being released for the saddos

A bright morning which is unusual for Fly Flatts with clear visibility , slight NW>3 and sunshine.
Despite this, birding was again poor at this venue with for some reason Fly Flatts failing to produce the birds this year. There is a lot more disturbance now with constant shoots and the high number of Grouse shows that they are being farmed in and released there.
The reservoir held 2 BHgulls , 3 Rooks flew over the water and Red Grouse were everywhere and that was it, not much to show for 2 hours birding and walking the full circumference of the water including the top road.
Nothing at the Delvers field where feeding seems to have ceased.
