Another Saturday blown away

                                 1 Redshank at Raggalds flood.

Oxenhope Watchpoint.  Howling NW>6 gusting 7 slight drizzle but mostly sunny.
The third recent visit and the third disappointment to this usual active site although each one has been in strong wind or rain.
White horses raced across the water and waves were splashing over the banking leaving the water quiet other than 3 LBBgulls and the usual Canadas and Mallards. A few Golden Plover were calling along with Curlew and Lapwing in small numbers whilst a single Wheatear was present.
Raggalds flood held a single Redshank, 2 Pied Wagtails and 2 Wheatear, more bird activity here than 1 hour at Oxenhope.
Green Lane/ Corporal Hill etc was a flop with nothing around.
Hope this dreaded wind drops by the morning.
