The wind was back to full strength today with a force 7 WNW gusting 8-9.
Walking to work this morning was like an obstacle course with wheelie bins, fences and roof tiles everywhere.
The day remained dry till late afternoon when there was a few light showers.
Needless to say the skies were quiet apart from 2 Swallows over the park midday heading >N.
The wind seems to be moving things around a bit this week with several reports of Ring Ouzel, Whooper Swans and Arctic Tern, Calderbirds, Ring Ouzel, Redshanks and Wheatears, Queensburybirder and a text tonight from Peter Turner of House Martin back at Shelf this a.m. and Wheatears near Royds Hall this p.m.
Hopefully the wind will have blown itself out by the weekend.
