                                      m Goosander heading to roost
No Pinkies in with the Canadas
                                         1 of 2 Oystercatcher
My first of the year Curlew

                                         Nice flock of Golden Plover

                                        Several displaying Lapwings

Unbelievable that we visited one of our daughters at Sowerby Bridge this afternoon and we could have sat out in the garden, no sign of snow and warm sunshine yet up here in Queensbury I was shoveling the path before we set off and everythiing is frozen solid.
Anyway, thats what you get for living up here in the gods.
A late afternoon visit to Leeshaw reservoir turned out to be a bonus for having a poor morning. Plenty snow over there with a cold E>4 and snow showers with some sunshine. The problem with the sunshine was it was setting right behind a field full of Goldies so struggled to get decent shots plus they were quite a distance away.
No sign of Pinkies this week but got a first Curlew along with 2 Oyks and 2 pr Goosander heading for the TMR roost.
About 200 small gulls on the water but couldnt produce a Kittiwake out of them.

43 Golden Plover
c70 Canada Geese
2 Oystercatcher
2pr Goosander
6 Greylag hybrids
1 Curlew
