Wednesdays Dailies Dash

Good tit flock in the Hawthorns
The Babbling Brook
No sure about this character with the wing tag.

A dull day with a few drizzle showers and slight S>4 breeze

The Dailies at lunch time was fairly quiet, especially in the sky where the view to the east was murky with poor visibility. I was hoping for PF geese after a report from the Halifax grapevine but this wasnt to be .
A tit flock of over 20 birds was in the small Hawthorns comprising of Great, Blue and Coal but were very mobile and if anything else was amongst them it got past me.
A flock of 12 Redwing went overhead >W and 4 Blackbirds + 11 Magpies were flitting about.
A pair of Linnet were checking out the gorse bushes and Greenfinch could be heard in the holly bushes.
Gulls were noticable by their absense and a few noisy Jackdaws were on the red brick chimney.
