A taste of summer

On a day like today just close your eyes and remember your memories of summer.
The day started off with light rain until 0800hrs then it was all downhill from there. The wind got up and the rain poured down getting worse and worse as the day went on. My shopping delivery trip to beyond Wilsden tonight was horrendous going over the mountain with gale force winds and rain driving horizontally across the road like sea spray.
Raggalds floods tonight had covered the field and the road was only passable with care, if Queensbury is getting flooded at the top of the hill I dread to think what its like at the bottom.
Needless to say , theres nowt to report on the bird scene today.
At least when you look at the photos it will take your mind off the dark ,wet and windy evening.
