Ogden Reservoir.

                                    Ideal duck habitat

                                        3 Tufted

                                        Single Teal

                                    Gulls on the gantry
                                        None with rings

                                    1 Herring gull present
as well as a single LBB.

Another of those very dark mornings with full cloud cover and dead calm conditions at 8 degrees with fog on the tops. Decent viewing conditions over the water but not camera friendly.
Plenty activity on the water but the Wigeons and Teals have moved on as well as the Goosander, leaving a single Teal and 3 Tufted as well as a record count of Mallard plus 5 Canada geese.
Around 50 Black Headed gulls were present as well as 6 Common, 1 LBB and 1 Herring whilst 2 Cormorants were being constantly mobbed by BH gulls after their catch.
Once again, empty skies with another very poor vis mig season with nothing near the massive counts we used to get years back.
A cloudy day forecast for tomorrow with a light SE at 8 degrees.
