Out in the sunshine, Fly Flatts.

                                    Good count of Common Sandpiper

                                    Redshank and ducklings, east bank
                                    Good year for Curlew

                                    Several Swallows passing through

A warmer morning but a nice cooling breeze with a SE>2 at 8 degrees with full sun in a near cloudless sky.
A bit of a lull going on at the moment wader-wise with a clear out of Dunlin, leaving just 8 Common Sandpiper and 12 Redshank, so its a matter of waiting for the next wave to come through.
A good move of Swallows >S but no more Swifts through as yet and House Martins not yet arrived at Whitegate where they breed in good numbers. Very quiet otherwise with just the usual species apart from 4 LBB gulls on the water and the Tufted duck pair still present. Nothing moving skyward other than the Swallows whilst the Nolstar field was void of Goldies.
Full sun for morning on a very light ESE kicking off at 7 degrees.
