A pleasant morning at Leeshaw with full cloud cover, light rain showers and a cool SW>2 at 13 degrees and clear visibility.
After a quiet morning yesterday, this morning was buzzing with numbers well up though nothing special through.
A single juv Curlew was present along with 2 adult and 1 juv Oystercatcher whilst 11 single Curlew moved through all >W, some very high and some low over the water.
Just 8 LBB gulls and 4 Herring gulls present along with around 40 Black Headed on the shore whilst several LBBs moved >W very high.
The area was alive with the 3 hirundine species looking like they are starting to gather, ready for a move, and contrary to yesterdays lack of small migrants, there were  good counts of Goldfinch, Linnet and Meadow Pipit, along with 3 Willow Warblers.
Otherwise, down to the usual Heron, Lapwing, Little Owl and geese etc.
On the way home a distant field opposite the Dog and Gun held around 50 big gulls which looked like mostly LBBs as far as I could see.
Part cloud tomorrow with a stronger moderate sou'westerly.
