Looking back at some star birds in 2023.

With dense fog, a good overnight covering of snow, with heavy rain and drizzle throughout the day, as near as I got to birding was checking the hedges around Foxhill, whilst dog walking, plus a check of the Pellon Lane rowans whilst we were out on our shopping expedition.
I,ve put together a few of the special birds I,ve come across in my watch area during 2023, just to remind birders that there are birds out there though at the moment its hard to believe.
Hopefully the rain will shift the snow though the fog is going to be another problem. At this rate I,ll be lucky to get up to Fly Flatts before the New Year.
