                                                Boats back in action
                                              Small move of LBB gulls

                                                   Kestrels enjoying the wind

  • Low cloud and drizzle started off the day on a W>4 at 12 degrees. The cloud soon lifted leaving sunshine and showers for the rest of the day.
  •                               As soon as the low cloud lifted vis mig burst into life with Meadow Pipits being the star turn but Thrushes , Finches and Wagtails coming through.
  •                              A poor display of gulls again with 1 LBB and the usual YL Herring gull though LBBs were moving overhead.
  •                               Driving up there for the afternoon session a juv Hobby flew straight over Cold Edge Rd and over the car heading SW towards Cold Edge Dams. Thats my first Hobby up there since 2017.
