Up to a misty Fly Flatts for the first 30 minutes then the fog rolled in thick and fast along with heavy drizzle so down to Ogden which was misty and dark but dry and just below the cloud base.
Things here were quiet with just a single Herring gull on the water along with 6 Common gulls, 16 BH gulls and 2 Cormorant whilst the Dipper was in its usual place down in the sluice gate area.
By late afternoon at Fly Flatts the wind had moved from SW to W>4 with clear but very black clouds and drizzly showers. Managed to snatch some movement morning and afternoon but only the low flying stuff.
The 2 Barnacles were present along with 36 Canadas and a few blogging Mipits which seem to have mostly gone by now.
The Bentley workers at the reservoir say that this is by far the worst reservoir they have ever worked at weather wise and must think I,m lame under 't'cap going up there for pleasure. Wait till they see winter up there!
