Ogden 0800-0900 hrs
Vis migging in the rain this morning with moderate SW>4 and heavy rain throughout. 1 hour watch which was mainly to walk the dogs but surprisingly there were a few birds moving even in the rain.
Nothing special on the water or in the sluice gate area and no sign of the tit flock in the usual area.
Conditions at Fly Flatts late p.m. were good with a W>5 with light drizzle showers showing broken cloud and some sunshine but unfortunately Fly Flatts has lost the plot recently and for some reason is just not supplying the goods with no waders since late summer and a poor show of wildfowl on the water so far this autumn.
The skies were quiet other than a few gulls moving through whilst a record count of 45 Mallards were on the north bank and 2 Tufteds on the water.
The 2 Stonechat were still present along with 2 Raven over the Nab .
A drier day forecast for tomorrow then more rain Sunday and into the middle of next week.
