Another sunny, clear sky day slightly hampered by a strong SW turning W>5.
Another day comprising of a lot of walking and a lot of scoping which failed to produce anything out of the ordinary. At least I can,t say it was quiet with once again the shorelines buzzing with life though no signs of the 6 Ringed Plovers from yesterday.
Dunlins were picked up with every scan and on all 4 shorelines as well as Common Sandpipers and Redshank. Gull numbers are dropping slightly with around 80 LBBs, 40 Herring and a single Black Headed, maybe they,re losing interest slightly?
Another wait now for that special wader to appear.
