Leeshaw Reservoir

With a thick blanket of fog over the tops I headed for Leeshaw which was below the cloud base but very grey and drizzly with some heavy showers.
Plenty activity with the Lapwings and Curlews, several with young now, but apart from Redshank and Oystercatcher the only other wader was a single Common Sandpiper on the far shore.  A Merlin darted through putting everything up whilst 2 Kestrel were over the moor and 2 Red Legged Partridge in the field.
