The north end of the water frozen
Plenty small gulls
Just the 1 big gull. LBB
Still waiting for the big thaw so the track is accessible at Fly Flatts ,and with limited time it was back to Ogden for a second attempt of picking up something good which unfortunately didnt happen.
Though conditions were much better than yesterday with a slight W>4 and clear skies passerines were none existent around the waterside track with none at all seen other than at the two feeding stations and even then there was only Blue , Great and Coal Tits.
The water held around 75 small gulls and a single Lesser Black Backed plus the usual Mallards with around 17 Herring gulls high overhead >W.
Two checks on the sluice gate area failed to produce the Kingfisher which looks to have moved downstream to slightly milder temperatures.
On the plus side , the muddy track was frozen so no need to bath the dogs when I got home.
Perfect conditions for Pinks to move today but obviously something that we dont know about was,nt right for them so still no blast off.
