With the snow piling down and fog on the tops I headed for Ogden first light where it was clear with fine snow flurries on a much reduced SW>4.
A pair of Wigeon were out on the water whilst the Little Grebe was diving in its usual NE corner. The water held 5 Herring gull, all sub adults, along with a scattering of Commons and Black Headeds. By the time I,d checked these out the snow was coming down thick and fast so I headed back whilst I could still get to Queensbury. A good covering up here and still snowing with heavy snow forecast overnight . Back to work in the morning.
A snowy Queensbury.
