Fly Flatts , too blue, too sunny, too nice.

                                   Overnight fall of Fieldfare

                                             At least 6 Stonechat present
Good number of gulls on the water

Lapwings congregating above Bradshaw, no Goldies.

Fly Flatts 0700 hrs.. Poor vis mig conditions with only 10 % cloud cover otherwise wall to wall blue sky and sunshine on an icy NW> 4-5. Black ice on the road up there.
A good overnight fall of Fieldfare was apparent with at least 20 present around the track down to the boathouse but by the end of the watch they were gone.
An unusually high number of Common and Black Headed gulls were on the water along with 26 Mallard but still no Whoopers.
Stonechats were the bird of the morning with at least 6 present, some down the bottom and others along the top road. No signs of vis mig which is now almost over but the clear skies tends to kill it.
