Leeshaw 1530 hrs was buzzing with migrants despite the nasty hot stuff and no real wind to compensate.
The water was quiet with just a few Greylag and Canadas along with 1 Cormorant.
The newly mown fields were holding around 150 BH gulls and about a dozen Lesser Black Backed with several Linnets, Meadow Pipits and an influx of Wheatear. More Wheatear were found along the shore line and several more along the dam wall mixed in with Linnets and Pied Wagtails.
A scope along the far end of the dam wall produced 2 Whinchats on thistle tops way on at the far end. Otherwise it was usual stuff but at least an improvement on the last few days birding.
