Another shot at Ogden p.m.

Yet another dark and dismal afternoon with mist over the tops whilst Ogden had drizzle and black as night skies.
Around 200 small gulls on the water with no big gulls present today although a few LBBs went >N overhead towards the Oxenhope roost.
The Kingfisher was down in the sluice gate area along with a Grey Wagtail whilst several BH gulls on the railings were checked for rings with no joy.
Robins are up singing last light now as well as early morning, probably like us trying to rush the spring on.
Up in the car park trees around 40 Goldfinch were pre roost collecting with a few Chaffinch mixed in.
The local Lapwings seem to have split into 2 groups now with around 70 over the Shelf Moor trailer park field on our way to Brighouse this afternoon and around 80 over Pit Lane last light.
Plenty reports of Pink Footed geese heading >NW today but none seen over the village. Thanks for all texts and calls reporting them.
