Soil Hill 1900-2000 hrs. Bright and sunny with coo NE>4. Visibility, Ferrybridge.
A typical June evening up on the hill with everything busy on family duties.
A good year for breeding Meadow Pipit with birds everywhere collecting food for their young along with at least 5 Skylark doing the same.
A pair of Lapwing were up steering me away from a chick whilst another pair had 1 flying juv.
Starling juvs numbered up to 100 busy feeding in the field by the mast whilst a single Curlew flew overhead.
The tree line was poor with just 1 pr Dunnock near the bottom.
A Robin was singing near the mast which was unusual.
