A muggy hot day with limited visibility and by 1900 hrs light drizzle and the mist starting to roll in, not looking good for morning.
A non birding day today with jobs to do that I could nt put off any longer like windows to clean, garden to attack for the first time this spring and to make it worse a house that the daughter rents out has become empty and needs a full make over so that should keep me active for the next few weeks.
Picked Ollie up mid afternoon from the groomers and was met with an usual and surprising sight with around 12 House Martins flying around the houses we had gone to and swooping under the eaves looking like they were preparing to start nest building.
The houses are on Sandhall Green off Albert Road above Hanson Lane HX right at the top of Sandhall Green which looks to come to a dead end. Hope this is useful Dave.
