A dash round at lunch time in a cold N>4 turned up very little, a Grey Wagtail being the bird of the day at Raggalds Flood giving me new hopes of a Yellow. Otherwise the flood held 2 Lapwing and 4 Magpies.
Old Guy Rd cricket field held 5 Meadow Pipits, 3 Skylark and 2 distant Mistle Thrush on the wires.
Roper Lane watch point produced 7 LBB gulls >NW and an uncommon sight at this time of year of a Common gull also >NW.
Several Swallows and Swifts headed >N along with a single Greylag goose.
Otherwise all quiet and again no time for evening birding which will probably go on for another good week until this house renovation job is done but hopefully I,ll have some goodies to blog over the weekend.
