Old Guy Rd, Roper Lane

Still grounded on the evenings so another dinner time dash to once again check the Redstart wall below Roper which produced at least 4 Willow Warblers doing Spotted Flycatcher impressions from the edge of the branches but no sign of Redstart or flycatcher.
Once again a good number of HouseMartins were heading through >N whilst several Swifts were feeding very high.
4 LBB gulls were soaring low over the Bradshaw pond probably looking for stray Canada goose eggs or goslings there whilst 2 Grey Partridge scurried across the pylon field.
Old Guy Rd cricket pitch held 3 Meadow Pipits and 2 Skylark but no Wheatears now, seemingly they have moved through our area to breeding grounds further north.
A single Jay flew >SE over the garage this morning which is a real odd ball for this location.
Roll on the weekend, I,m fed up of seeing Magnolia emulsion and rolls of wallpaper.
