From Roper Lane watch point SW
Looking W over Ogden
Looking NW over Soil Hill
A much better day with the wind down to SW>5 keeping dry until after dark when the heavens really opened with 30 minutes of torrential rain.
A check on Raggalds Flood at lunch time was disappointing with just 2 Common and 1 Black Headed gulls present along with a Pied Wagtail but no waterfowl.
On to Old Guy Road where a few small gulls were in the fields and a single Skylark was on the cricket pitch.
Next stop, Roper Lane watch point where around 20 Common gulls were hanging on the wind with 6 BHGs on the hillside.
A single Cormorant was across the valley heading towards Ogden whilst a steady passage of LBB gulls headed high and >NW.
2 Meadow Pipits were down on the Redstart wall.
