With a hectic week come to a close, finishing how it started, with no time for evening birding I,m looking forward to the weekend.
The problem on an evening now is lack of time before last light and whereas before I had time to check Ogden then get on with my garden chores I now have time for one or the other and unfortunately this week the garden won.
All quiet today both from the grapevine and the Oxenhope crew so it does,nt sound like anything special transpired.
Vis mig over Foxhill this morning was slow with another bright start deteriorating as the morning went on with rain at mid day before brightening again p.m.
The first move of Starlings showed this morning as several small squadrons headed fast and low in migration mode in the usual direction of >NW whilst 3 groups of early moving Woodpigeons went high and >S.
Are we going to be in line for some Pink Footed Geese this weekend or hopefully another Osprey.
Vis Mig first light.
