Ogden p.m.

Dipper at great distance down by the old sluice gate
Good to get another Herring gull but pink legs

After a hectic week and 2 missed blogs my Shelf moor project is almost at a close so I should be able to get back to some form of normality whatever that is.
A dash to Ogden to check the gulls for Yellow Legged Herring produced another Herring gull but the pink legged species which is still good to find at Ogden.
Gull numbers were down with 41 Black Headed, 4 LBBs and the 1 Herring with no sign of NKs BHG with leg rings but most were on the water or flying around for the Warburtons that people were chucking.
Otherwise the water held 3 Canadas, 1 Gt Crested Grebe + the usual Mallards.
A surprise whilst checking down in the overflow for Kingfisher with a Dipper way down below the old iron sluice gate, my first Ogden dipper this year. Also present was a single Grey Wagtail.
