Fly Flatts Revisited

                 Plenty Curlews calling
                        Snipe were everywhere this morning

            Both Red Legged and Grey Partridge present
                                      Up to 12 Snipe showing

Fly Flatts 0650-1000hrs

Another warm bright morning with once again mist in the valleys.
Meadow Pipits were still piling through as yesterday but gull movement was down to a few Commons >N.
A good check at the north end of the reservoir for Stonechat, Dunlin and Wheatear produced none of either species but Snipe were showing well on walls, fence posts and in the air drumming. Two Golden Plover headed high and >E, otherwise it was down to usual sp though good to get Red Legged and Grey Partridge along with Red Grouse and Pheasant, a real game bird morning.
