Return to Fly Flatts, p.m. Snow Bunt search

Called at Mixenden on the way back from Fly Flatts
 to get some 2015 pics.
                                     Going under.
The Diver thought it was at home on the rough sea.

Back to reality. The main part of emulsioning
  is sheeting everything up.

Early back after a shopping spree so back to Fly Flatts feeling sure that the Snow Bunting would still be around although when I got up there the weather was horrendous with a near storm force SW>8 and torrential rain. A good check of the ditches along the roadsides and the fringes of the moor found nothing although in the conditions it could be lying low or as DJS and DF remarked, it could have moved as the fog lifted. I,ll be having a scrat about up there this weekend.
Called in at Mixenden on the way back in similar conditions, must have just missed Muxy unless he was at the opposite end to me.
The Diver seemed really at home in the sea like conditions, diving and doing a near full length under water at times. Only other birds present as far as I could see were small gulls.
Raggalds Flood is looking good again but just held a few small gulls.
Thanks to blog watchers Angela and Gary for checking the flood out earlier in the afternoon, as Angela remarked, " By golly, its bloody windy up this neck of the woods ".

Back to reality now with bedroom decorating and work tomorrow but the weekend approaches.
