Mallard riding the waves
Sun making a poor attempt at shining
Birds of the day , Goosanders
Oops, been spotted
With strong NW winds and sleet showers it was head for Ogden which was,nt my ideal choice but limited in the conditions.
Ogden was calmer along the west shoreline but icy cold and heavy showers kept passerines out of sight.
A few Blue, Great and Coal Tits along with Robins and Dunnocks was the best I could do despite a good check of the Alders for JLs Siskin and the overflow for DJSs Kingfisher.
The water held 1 Cormorant, the usual Mallards and small gulls ,and just to help save the morning a bit 2m 1f Goosander.
All quiet on the Raggalds Flood.
Three dogs to bath when I got home from the muddy paths around Ogden.
