Sunday morning write off, more fog.

                 

      Peering through the mist                            

                           Towards the cricket pitch

         Wheatear country

                                 Pitch void of birds

                                      Plenty empty seats

                Only sign of life

            Few corvids round the muck spreader.

With thick fog same as yesterday I thought it not even worth getting the car out and wasting fuel so decided on a good dog walk around Old Guy Rd to check for Black Redstart.
The cricket pitch area has held, several Wheatear, Pied and Grey Wagtails, Redstart and Whinchat so why not Black Red.
With heavy drizzle and fog bird life was at a loss with just a few Corvids and gulls and nothing more
Another week to wait now unless the fog clears and we get back in time for the daylight for a quick late afternoon dash but thats two big ifs.
