A dinnertime dash on Swalesmoor to check for Wheatears on the bottom quarry proven fruitless but gave me some amazing views of Shibden valley at its best.
3 Herring gulls went over >W along with several Swallows but no Swifts today.
Around a dozen Linnet were mobile, a scarce bird for me this year, whilst 4 Pied Wagtails were along the roadside.
Several Swallows were going in and out of an out building at the house near the Swalesmoor, Queensbury Road junction.
