A real mish mash of weather today with a snowy frozen start which soon thawed, followed by heavy rain and the wind increasing by lunch time. By late afternoon the rain turned to sleet and the wind picked up reaching severe gale force by last light and on through the evening with a howling S>8 gusting 9.
All quiet on the Raggalds Flood at lunch time so a quick watch from Roper Lane which produced 8 LBB gulls >NW and 4 Canada geese leaving the Bradshaw pond.
Three Grey Partridge were in a distant field off Old Guy Rd along with around 100 Starling.
The cricket field held 11 Feral Pigeons.
Lynda settling down at home but very weary and lifeless spending a lot of time in bed and wishing she could attack some housework.
