Queensbury south and Northowram

Few gulls in Northowram horse field
Shelf Moor Lapwing field holding Meadow Pipits
Little Owl peering through the lats

Black Dyke Mill from Green Lane
                                         Mistle Thrushes

                                                    One from yesterday

A wild and wet day from start to finish with little in the skies over the village.
Yesterdays Whooper Swans moved this morning around 1000hrs and were last seen heading >N over Ogden.
A flying visit to Northowram at lunch time hoping for a photo of ACs Pinkie in the horse field yesterday found nothing but a few small gulls and several corvids.
The Shelf Moor Lapwing field held around 30 Meadow Pipits and a pair of Mallard whilst several Mistle Thrushes were on the wires around Corporal Hill and the Little Owl was well sheltered behind the fencing.

Lynda still making good progress but finds it very painful sipping water. They tried her with some yoghurt today but couldnt manage to swallow it. A feeding machine has been ordered to be delivered home so things could be moving after the weekend.
