Winter Thrushes for the Dailie Fields

Looking down where the old track ran to carry goods
from the railway station to the village.
                                         An abundance of berries
Distant shots of Fieldfare . No time to walk down there
The speck ,right hand centre is a Bullfinch
A murky view to the east over the station
                                            Ideal Fieldfare habitat

After seeing several Fieldfare and Redwing around the Station Rd area I thought I,d better check out where they were coming from so a quick trip to the top of the Dailie Fields at lunch time proved just that.
Looking down into the Hawthorns found large numbers of mainly Fieldfare with several Redwing and Blackbirds mixed in all after the rich supply of berries half way down between me and the station.
Bullfinches and tits made up the numbers along with Robins and Dunnocks but unfortunately I was due back at work so no time to go further down to investigate .
The skies to the east were misty and quiet although several Starlings were moving over Foxhill park >NW earlier.
