Good to see BHGs back
Several Meadow Pipits
Ever the optimist I headed for Ogden this evening after a half hearted attempt at the garden mainly because the dogs needed walking !!!
The area was much livelier with passerines probably due to the swarms of midges around the reservoir.
Good shorelines are now showing tempting the first few returning gulls down and hopefully encouraging a Tern or two.
A Common Sandpiper was a nice surprise when it flew from the shelter of the trees in the NW corner to the east bank but no time to go try re- locate it.
An unusual number of Meadow Pipits were around the waters edge but again probably due to the midges.
